About Alex's Landscaping

One week the beds at Vander Veer Botanical Park are bare brown ground; the next they are a full riot of tulips, and every street in Davenport seems to remember what green is for. Alex's Landscaping works in that turning season and the ones that follow it, mowing lawns on a steady cycle and cutting the edges clean where turf meets walk and drive. The beds get shaped, the mulch gets refreshed dark, and anything that has outgrown its place along a foundation gets trimmed back. There is real satisfaction in the last pass of a morning — the stripes lying straight, the clippings blown off the concrete, a yard that looks like someone chose it. Around Davenport and out toward Bettendorf and Blue Grass, that is the work.
