About Escape Landscaping

The Raccoon River Valley Trail comes through Dallas Center on the old rail grade, and on a June evening the town moves at bicycle speed past front yards that get looked at more than most. Escape Landscaping works those yards and the acreages out toward the river bottom — mowing, trimming, edging, laying fresh mulch so the beds read as sharp as the plantings in them, and clearing yard debris when the season turns over. Dallas County light in midsummer sits high and stays late, and the work stretches right along with it. A mulched bed with a cut edge does something for a house that nothing else quite manages. That is the part worth taking time over.
