Flatau Lawn Care

About Flatau Lawn Care

The East Fork of the Des Moines River bends through Dakota City, and on a hot August afternoon the sound of moving water drifts up into the shaded streets of this small county seat. Flatau Lawn Care keeps yards trim here, in a river town where old trees and older houses sit close to the water. Late summer tests a lawn with heat, dry spells, then a sudden soaking, and steady care is what sees it through: mowing at a sensible height, trimming the borders, tidying the curbside edges. When the evening breeze comes off the river and the light slants long through the bankside trees, a Dakota City yard cut clean looks perfectly matched to the slow, settled pace of the place.
