About Houseman's Outdoor Solutions

On a Saturday morning in May, cyclists coast into Cumming along the Great Western Trail, and the little town fills with bike bells and easy conversation. Houseman's Outdoor Solutions cares for lawns here, in a place that still holds onto its small-crossroads heart even as Warren County grows up around it. Spring grass in central Iowa grows with real ambition, and keeping it in hand week after week is a small art: mowed to a uniform height, trimmed neatly around trees and posts, walks cleared of clippings. By noon, when the riders are pedaling back out under the trail's green canopy, a Cumming lawn finished this way looks ready for a slow afternoon in the shade.
