About Motivated Mowers LLC

On the older blocks off Fifth Street the silver maples throw enough shade to make a July noon bearable, and just past their reach the sun sits down on the grass like a hand. Motivated Mowers LLC works both halves of a yard like that — the thin shaded turf near the trunks and the thick sunny stretch out by the curb — mowing, edging and trimming until the whole thing finishes as one lawn. Coralville summers are humid and quick to grow, so the schedule matters every bit as much as the machine. Nothing elaborate about it: a sharp line at the walk, corners cut in by hand, the sidewalk blown off before the truck rolls on. By evening the block looks like somebody meant it.
