About Joseph's LLC

Above Coralville, the lake sits locked under ice most of the winter, and on the coldest mornings a thin fog lifts off the water below the dam and drifts into the streets closest to the reservoir. Joseph's LLC works those neighborhoods first, clearing driveways while that fog still hangs low over the yards nearest the Iowa River. A few miles downstream, the university crowd across the line in Iowa City keeps its own hours, but Coralville's own streets fill early with people headed toward the interstate corridor near Coral Ridge. The crew keeps a steady rhythm through those subdivisions, treating a driveway near the lake the same as one two miles off toward the mall — cleared to the pavement, salted at the joints where ice likes to hide. By the time the fog lifts off the reservoir, the neighborhoods below the dam are ready for the day.
