About K & S Lawn Care Services

October light comes in low and amber over Coggon, catching the maples on the side streets until every block looks lit from within. K & S Lawn Care Services tends yards in this eastern Iowa town through the fall, when leaves drift ankle-deep and the grass wants a few last good cuts before it goes dormant. Fall cleanup is a craft of its own: leaves gathered off the lawn before they mat down, beds cleared, a final mow set to carry the yard through to spring. On a frosty morning, with breath showing on the sidewalk and school buses grinding past, a Coggon lawn cleared and cut this way is ready for the long rest ahead.
