PLG Services

About PLG Services

March in Clinton is rail lines and grain elevators against a gray sky, meltwater running downhill for the river, the ground finally letting go of winter. PLG Services opens its season there — first cleanups, matted grass raked loose, lawns coaxed back to themselves after four cold months. Once the turf wakes, the routine takes over: mow, edge, trim, clear the walks, return next week and do it again. Eastern Iowa gives about seven good months of growth, and not one of them is spare. Watching a tired March yard turn into a full May lawn is reason enough to do this work.
