About Clayton Yard Restoration

Dawn on the Mississippi at Clayton comes softly, river fog hanging between the water and the tall bluffs until the sun burns it off into the trees. Clayton Yard Restoration works in this small river town, where hillsides rise steeply behind the houses and barges slide past with barely a sound. Its focus is right there in the name, bringing yards back: clearing out what the season left behind, mowing the lawn into shape, trimming the overgrowth until the grass has room to breathe. After a wet spring, when the river has run high and the yards look tired, that patient restoration turns a ragged lot into a lawn that does justice to the bluffs.
