Astro’s Lawn Maintenance

About Astro’s Lawn Maintenance

Cincinnati, Iowa, shares its name with a big Ohio river city, but it keeps its own unhurried pace a few miles above the Missouri line, ringed by oak timber and the long hills of Appanoose County. Astro's Lawn Maintenance looks after yards in this small southern Iowa town, where August evenings hum with cicadas and the grass comes back thick after every warm rain. The work is simple and deeply satisfying: mow it even, trim around the mailbox and the fence posts, sweep the walk, leave the borders sharp. As dusk comes on and the heat finally loosens its grip, a Cincinnati lawn tended this way looks cool enough to cross barefoot.
