About H & R Lawn Care, L.L.C.

On a Friday evening in June, Central Park in Charles City fills up around the bandshell — lawn chairs on the grass, kids running the shade lines, the Cedar sliding past a block away. H & R Lawn Care, L.L.C. spends its weeks making the private version of that: the front yards and business lots where the same grass has to look presentable without anybody thinking about it. Mowing on a set rotation, trimming tight to foundations and light poles, edges pulled clean along the drive, clippings gone. The season in Floyd County runs from a muddy April to a leaf-choked October and every week of it counts. A lawn cut right doesn't ask for attention — it just makes the house look like it's standing up straight.
