Heyer Lawn Care

About Heyer Lawn Care

Cross the footbridge over the Cedar in Charles City on an October morning and the whole river valley is going copper, with cottonwood leaves riding the current under your feet. Heyer Lawn Care works the neighborhoods that climb the banks on both sides. Autumn is when the calendar gets serious here — leaves off the turf before they mat and smother it, the final cuts taken shorter, gutter-line corners raked out, everything squared away before north Iowa's first real freeze locks the ground. The rest of the year it's the steady discipline of mowing and trimming on time, week after week, so nothing ever gets ahead of the yard. Then the snow comes, and the lawn underneath is already put to bed properly.
