United Tree Service Centerville Iowa

About United Tree Service Centerville Iowa

Centerville keeps one of the largest town squares in the country, and the shade around it comes from trees pruned into that shape a little at a time. United Tree Service works the square, the old coal-town streets around it, and the oak-and-hickory ridges that fall away toward Rathbun Lake. Summer evenings here are heavy and green, and the work is trimming limbs back off roofs and porch corners, thinning crowns so a breeze can find its way through, shaping the young trees on the newer streets. Southern Iowa storms build fast over the timber, and when one splits a maple down the fork the broken wood comes out, the drive is cleared and the brush is hauled away. A removal is planned around the fence line, the flower bed and the path to the mailbox, and what is left is open sky over a lawn that mows clean.
