About Smiths property service LLC

Midday in July, City Square Park in Marion holds perfectly still — bandstand empty, shade pooled under the old trees, heat shimmering off Seventh Avenue. Smiths property service LLC is out working in it, mowing, trimming, edging, and keeping the grounds of homes and small properties in order between Marion and Cedar Rapids. Corn-country humidity makes turf grow like it's being paid to, and the answer to that is simply turning up on schedule. Nothing dramatic ever happens in this trade; a lawn just quietly stops being something you have to think about. By late afternoon the mower is cooling on the trailer and another handful of addresses look looked-after.
