About M Lawn Services

April on the southwest side arrives sideways: wind off the open ground near Mount Trashmore, clouds moving fast, the first green pushing up through last year's thatch. M Lawn Services takes that season as it comes — mowing once the ground firms, running the trimmer along fence lines and drainage swales, edging the walks, hauling off whatever winter left piled in the corners of a yard. Out this way the lots run wide and the wind never really quits, so the passes are cut long and straight. There's a particular satisfaction in the last turn at the far end of a big yard with everything behind you even. By evening the whole place smells like the rest of the year is on its way.
