J & L Lawn Care

About J & L Lawn Care

Two names on the truck, two sets of hands, and a route that runs the southwest side out past Hawkeye Downs to where the last streets give way to corn. October is the long month here: mowing tapers off, the leaves start coming down in earnest, and everything shifts to clearing, turf first and then the beds, before the first hard freeze locks it all in place. J & L Lawn Care keeps the whole year in one steady rhythm, mowing and trimming and edging from April onward, then putting each yard properly to bed. Fall light in eastern Iowa is gold and short and worth working straight through. Come spring the grass wakes up under nothing but open air.
