The riverfront blocks of Kingston Village are still filling in — new rooflines going up where warehouses used to stand, new driveways poured where there used to be rail spurs — and Good change 360 has found steady footing clearing the ones that are already lived in. A neighborhood built back from the ground up carries a different kind of hope into winter: nobody here has years of knowing exactly where their driveway ices first, so the first hard freeze is still a small discovery each time. That makes the work as much about learning a block as clearing it, walking a new drive in November to see how the slope runs before the snow ever falls. By the second or third storm of the season, the crew knows which corners of Kingston Village catch the wind off the river and which stay sheltered behind the newer buildings. What comes out of it is a stretch of riverfront that stays walkable and drivable right through the parts of the city still finding their shape.
