CR Lawn Scapes

About CR Lawn Scapes

The Cedar River splits around Mays Island downtown and sets city hall on its own patch of ground, which is a fair picture of how a lawn ought to sit: shaped, held, unmistakably itself. CR Lawn Scapes cuts and shapes turf across the city on that principle, with clean lines, an even height, and edges that follow the walk instead of wandering off it. The rotation runs mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup, week over week, straight through the long green middle of an Iowa summer. Storms come in off the open country west of town and flatten the grass; three days later it wants cutting again. Consistency is the entire trick, and it is a trick nobody sees until it goes missing.
