Andrew's Lawn Care

About Andrew's Lawn Care

There is a stretch of First Avenue where the old estate grounds at Brucemore open out behind their stone wall, and it quietly sets a standard the rest of the street tries to meet. Andrew's Lawn Care works the in-between blocks: the bungalows, the corner lots, the strips of terrace between sidewalk and curb that nobody else wants to bother with. Mowing, trimming, edging, and hauling off what the cut leaves behind. Spring arrives in Cedar Rapids all at once, one warm week in April that turns every yard shaggy overnight, and from then until the leaves come down it is steady work. Done right, nobody notices the lawn at all; they just feel better walking up to the door.
