About 319 Lawn Care

Cedar Rapids answers to one area code, and this crew carries it on the truck. Work starts early on the New Bohemia side, where the brick warehouses hold the cool a little longer and the Saturday market is still setting up its tables. From there it is mowing, trimming and edging across the east side, a clean line laid down block by block until the yards read like one unbroken stretch of green. Summer here comes in humid and sudden, storms stacking up over the flat country west of town by afternoon, so the morning hours are the good ones and they get used. What is left behind is plain and worth the trouble: cut grass, swept walks, an edge you could follow home.
