About FMJUNK-IT LLC

Out where Carson's streets give way to open farm ground, a January wind can lift a whole field's worth of snow and lay it across a driveway overnight. FMJUNK-IT LLC handles both halves of the year in this small Pottawattamie County town, clearing snow from drives and walks when the drifts stack up, then mowing and trimming once the thaw lets the yards go green again. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway scraped down to bare pavement while the fields beyond are still white to the horizon. There is an equal one in a July lawn cut evenly right up to the porch steps. Winter or summer, the aim stays the same: leave the place open, even, and ready for whoever comes up the walk.
