Hubby 4 Hire

About Hubby 4 Hire

Carroll's grain elevators stand tall enough over downtown that they're the first thing to catch the midday sun after a storm, throwing long shadows across the blocks of houses below. Hubby 4 Hire works those residential streets once the morning's worst has already fallen, clearing driveways and walks under that elevator shadow while the rest of downtown is still digging out. It's neighborhood-scale work, one block, then the next, then the one after that, moving snow off driveways and onto the boulevard strip instead of piling it against a garage door. Salt goes down on the walks last, once the sun's had a chance to do some of the work on its own. It's a straightforward service for a straightforward county-seat town, done in the middle of the day rather than the dark hours on either side of it.
