About Valley Outdoor

East of town toward Riverdale, October fog sits in the river valley until midmorning, and you hear the towboats well before you see them. Valley Outdoor works those bottom-land streets where the ground stays damp and the grass keeps growing after the uplands have quit. Mowing here late in the year means reading the soil, keeping wheels off soft ground and still leaving a cut that looks intentional. When the fog lifts, a finished yard stands out against all that gray, trimmed clean at the fence line, drive swept bare. Valley Outdoor tends lawns along this stretch of the Mississippi valley and in Bettendorf itself.
