About Horizon Outdoor Services, Inc.

Stand on the Bettendorf bluff at sunrise and the Mississippi is a wide sheet of pewter with the I-74 arches drawn across it in white. Horizon Outdoor Services, Inc. starts the day up there, trailer gate down before the traffic builds, cutting and trimming lawns that look out over all that water. Wind off the river makes the work honest: clippings want to go everywhere, and blowing the drive and walks truly clean takes a second pass. By the time the sun clears the Illinois shore, a whole street can be mowed, edged and quiet again. Horizon keeps those river-facing yards tended straight through the growing season in Bettendorf and the towns on either side of it.
