About Ohern & Son

Barnum is a small town on the prairie of Webster County, and in late September the light comes in low across the soybean fields, turning every yard the color of honey. Ohern & Son keeps those yards in order, and cuts and trims for as long as the grass keeps growing. In a place this calm, a mower humming in the afternoon is part of the town's music, and the result, with level grass, neat edges and a lawn that plainly belongs to someone, speaks for itself. It may be small work, but it is the kind that makes a town feel like home.
