Hinners Lawn & Snow

About Hinners Lawn & Snow

January in Ankeny is blue and bright and bitterly still, the lawns gone straw-colored under a hard sky. Hinners Lawn & Snow knows those same yards green — mowed, trimmed, edged and cleared of clippings week after week from the first cut in April to the last in October. The growing season here is short enough to matter and generous enough to reward attention, and a lawn kept honestly through it goes into the cold strong. Standing on a frozen street you can still tell whose grass was looked after. When the thaw comes, the mowers start again on the same block.
