About Simple Services

Campustown yards are small and hard-used: a square of grass behind a porch, a strip beside the alley, all of it wanted looking decent by the third week of August when the whole neighborhood turns over at once. Simple Services does exactly what the name says — mow it, trim it, edge it, feed it, keep the weeds out, aerate and seed in the fall, haul the leaves when they come. No part of that is complicated, but doing it on time, every time, is what separates a tidy block from a shaggy one. Ames rewards the effort quickly; the soil here is generous and the grass answers within days. A clipped, swept, square-cornered little yard says somebody is paying attention, and that is worth something on any street in town.
