About Precision Lawn & Pest Solutions

Old Town Ames is a grid of narrow terrace strips — that ribbon of grass caught between the sidewalk and the curb, too small to matter until it is done wrong. Precision Lawn & Pest Solutions treats those strips like everything else in a July yard: measured, cut at the height the heat calls for, edged so the concrete shows a clean shoulder of soil. The list is straightforward — mowing, trimming, edging, fertilization, weed control, aeration and overseeding, and the raking-out that comes in spring and again in fall. Midsummer here means humid mornings and grass that grows a half step ahead of you, so the schedule matters as much as the blade. Walk a block of Ames after the crew has been through and the whole street sits a little squarer.
