About Country Landscapes & Nursery - Ames

October in Ames turns the oaks and maples around the Iowa State campus to rust and gold, and the air along Ioway Creek carries the crisp smell of a prairie turning toward fall. Country Landscapes & Nursery - Ames serves this college town with a nursery of trees, shrubs and plants and the lawn care that keeps yards sharp. Autumn is a fine time to plant in central Iowa, while the soil holds its warmth and the rains come gently, so a new tree can root before the ground freezes. Up and down the leafy streets between Lincoln Way and the Skunk River, a raked lawn and a newly set shrub bed say a home is ready for the cold. In a town that loves its game-day Saturdays, a sharp yard counts as hospitality too.
