About Ames Story Tree & Lawn.

Brookside Park at midday in June is all oak shade and cut-grass smell, and the neighborhoods around it inherit both. Ames Story Tree & Lawn. keeps those lawns in the shape the shade demands — mowing high under the canopy, trimming clean around trunk flares and playhouse posts, edging the front walk so it reads sharp from the curb. Shaded turf in central Iowa is a patient project; it comes back with consistency and vanishes with neglect, and consistency is what's on offer. Cleanups bracket the year at both ends, spring debris out of the beds and autumn leaves off the grass before they mat down over the cold months. What the neighbors see is simply a yard that always looks finished.
