About Ames Lawn Care & Maintenance
August in Ames arrives with moving trucks double-parked along Lincoln Way and a whole town changing hands at once. Ames Lawn Care & Maintenance keeps the grass on the right side of that churn — lots off Welch and Hayward mowed on schedule, trimmed around porch steps and bike racks, edges reset where a summer of foot traffic wore them soft. Maintenance is the operative word: the same day each week, clippings cleared off the walk, nothing for anyone to notice except how tidy it all looks. When the semester finally cools and the maples on the side streets let go, the leaf cleanups run until the ground is bare and ready. It is unglamorous, repeating work, and done properly it makes a busy block feel looked after.
