About Selby Landscapes LLC

A yard is mostly shapes: the curve where turf meets bed, the line a mulch edge holds, the low spot where water stands after an Altoona thunderstorm. Selby Landscapes works in those shapes — cutting and mulching beds, setting plantings, reworking borders, and keeping the grass around them mowed and trimmed so the whole thing hangs together. Autumn is the honest season for it out here, when the leaves come off and you can finally see the bones of a place against the flat gold of the harvested fields east of town. Get the lines right in October and the yard is already ahead of itself by April. There is genuine pleasure in standing back at the end and seeing a property that finally has an outline.
