JB Mowing and Trimming

About JB Mowing and Trimming

Saturday morning in Altoona sounds like small engines and a ball game — the fields at the youth sports complex filling up, half the neighborhood out doing what it can before the heat arrives. JB Mowing and Trimming is out ahead of all that, working through town while the grass still holds a little cool from overnight. The work is exactly what the name says, and it is plenty: an even cut, a clean line around the fence posts and the mailbox, no stray tuft left standing along the foundation. There is a particular pleasure in a yard finished before nine, sitting trim and green for the entire rest of the weekend. Spring through the last warm week of fall, always ahead of the heat.
