About Elite Irrigation and Landscaping LLC

July east of Des Moines comes in thick — corn breathing in the fields past the city limits, the air already heavy by nine in the morning, and lawns that go pale if nothing reaches the roots. Elite Irrigation and Landscaping works that stretch of the Altoona calendar: setting and repairing sprinkler systems, tuning heads and zones so the water lands on the grass instead of the sidewalk, and keeping the landscape around it mowed, trimmed, and shaped. A yard that drinks evenly holds green through the hottest fortnight a Polk County summer can put together, and that is the entire point. There is a quiet pleasure in a zone that runs at first light and a lawn that shows no trace of the week's heat by evening. Altoona summers are short; this is how a yard spends one well.
