About A2Z Lawn Care

The first pass of the day happens while the dew is still heavy enough to darken a boot. Altoona sits up on its rise east of Des Moines, and the light arrives early here, coming low and gold along the Gay Lea Wilson Trail before the first car turns out onto Eighth Street. A2Z Lawn Care works that hour — mowing, trimming, edging — so a yard is finished and quiet by the time the neighborhood is properly awake. The reward is the walk back to the truck: turf combed into even lines, clippings off the drive, every border cut sharp against the concrete. From the first green week of April to the last long shadow of October, that is the whole job, done street by street.
