About Down to Earth Tree Service LLC.

Kossuth County runs flat and open to the sky, so the trees around Algona are mostly there on purpose — planted groves, farmstead windbreaks, and the timber that follows the East Fork of the Des Moines. Down to Earth Tree Service tends that inheritance: pruning young maples and lindens into good structure, taking deadwood out of an old ash, thinning a shelterbelt so the row keeps standing against a north wind. Out here a storm shows up as a green sky and then a line of broken limbs across the yard and the lane, and the answer is plain — cut it up, load it out, put the drive back in service. Removals near a barn or a power drop come down in measured pieces rather than falling all at once. When it is finished, the grove looks the way it was meant to look and the sky over the section road sits a little wider.
