Mathisons masterworks

About Mathisons masterworks

Akron sits right up against the Big Sioux River, close enough to South Dakota that the wind arrives with nothing behind it but open plains and the far bluffs across the water. When a ground blizzard comes through, it doesn't so much fall as travel sideways down Main Street, filling in a driveway that was clear an hour before. Mathisons masterworks runs its routes with that in mind — plowing early, then circling back once the wind has had its say, because in this corner of Plymouth County one pass is rarely the last one. There's real satisfaction in a driveway that stays open through a whole day of blowing snow, in a walk that's still bare when the wind finally dies down toward evening.
