Wheeler Lawn Care

About Wheeler Lawn Care

Up on the central plateau, Wheeler Army Airfield lies between two ranges, with Kolekole Pass notched into the Waianae skyline to the west and the long flight line and its old hangars stretched out below. The air here runs cooler than on the coast and the rain comes more often, so the grass grows steadily and the mowing schedule is the whole game. Wheeler Lawn Care cuts to an even height, trims out the corners and the fence lines, edges the walks, and clears the cuttings so nothing gets tracked indoors. Straight lines suit this place; a lawn mowed in true passes looks right against all that geometry of runway and row. Between the pineapple ground out past the fence and the ridges standing on either hand, it is good country to keep green.
