Gilbert's Yard & Tree Trimming

About Gilbert's Yard & Tree Trimming

Waipahu's side streets are stitched together with hedges — mock orange, panax, hibiscus — and shaded here and there by a monkeypod wide enough to park a whole crew beneath. Gilbert's Yard & Tree Trimming works those blocks with mower and string trimmer, taking the grass right up to the hedge line and around the root flares without scarring anything. Turf under heavy shade grows thin and leans toward the light, while the open strip by the curb takes the full leeward sun and runs twice as fast. Reading those two climates inside one small yard is most of the craft. At dusk the result speaks plainly enough: grass lying flat and even, a defined edge along the walk, a lot that looks cared for rather than merely cut.
