Quality Turfgrass

About Quality Turfgrass

The floor of Waimanalo valley is flat and open — pasture, irrigation ditches, horses standing in the shade, Waimanalo Stream running low toward the sea. Turf grows here like it means it, and keeping it even comes down to blade height, timing, and not skipping a week. Quality Turfgrass mows, edges and trims lawns across the valley, then clears the cuttings so the surface stays open to light and air. There is a certain plainness to good grass: no scalped patches, no ragged margins, no windrows left behind. Under the Koolau, with the trades moving across it, that flat green reads as care.
