Green Sunshine

About Green Sunshine

First light on the Princeville bluff comes soft, with the mist still sitting in the ironwoods and the reef flat at Anini gone glassy and pale. Green Sunshine starts the mowing early, while the ground is cool, working stripes across lawns that grow all year in this north-shore damp. Trimming follows the fence lines and the base of the palms, and the edges get cut back to a true line where turf meets concrete. Clippings are gathered and hauled off, because a lawn is not finished until the walk beside it is clean. There is a real pleasure in leaving at mid-morning, sun fully up, and glancing back at a yard that looks like someone loves it.
