About Backyard Monkey LLC

Mountain View sits in the rain belt above Hilo, where the clouds come up the slope most afternoons on something close to a schedule, and everything green grows twice as fast for it. Backyard Monkey LLC is a lawn care outfit built for that pace, mowing, edging and trimming yards that would happily go back to fern and guava if left alone a month. On lava ground with ohia standing at the fence line, a mown lawn is a small clearing you keep on purpose, and holding it takes coming back before the grass gets ahead of you. The good moment is late morning: cut done, edges run, the yard bright and open just as the mist starts back down the mountain. The route covers Mountain View and the Puna towns along Highway 11.
