About Harvest Garden LLC

First light upcountry comes in pale and gold, and every blade of grass in Makawao is carrying a bead of dew. Harvest Garden LLC starts there, early, while the pasture below toward Haliimaile is still half in mist and the air has not warmed up yet. Mowing, edging, weeding the beds back to bare soil, spreading mulch so the ground holds its moisture through the bright part of the day — it is patient work, and it rewards patience. A garden here wants attention more than force; the volcanic soil will grow anything you let it, including everything you did not plant. What the day ends with is a lawn cut level, beds drawn in clean lines around it, and a yard that looks like somebody is paying attention.
