About Makaha Cleaners LLC

Makaha wakes up in shadow. The Waianae ridge holds the sun back until the morning is well along, so the valley stays cool a while after the beach below has gone bright — and that cool hour is the best one for mowing, when the grass still carries the night and the blades leave a dark, even stripe behind them. This is leeward ground, kiawe-thin where the water never reaches and deep green where it does, which means a lawn that looks smooth from the road is something somebody worked for. Makaha Cleaners LLC mows it, runs the edges straight along the driveway and the walk, trims back what has crept over the concrete, and carts the clippings away before the trade wind comes up in the afternoon. By the time the light swings around the valley wall, the yard is in order and the gate is shut behind them.
