About Kauai Tree Care

The harbor wind off Nāwiliwili comes up Rice Street most afternoons, and the monkeypods along the old lanes above Kalapakī Bay all move at once when it does. Kauai Tree Care works Līhuʻe's neighborhoods and the lots on the way out of town, keeping big canopies pruned back from rooflines, gutters and the wires that run the length of a street. Trimming is a matter of balance — bring the long limbs down a notch and the crown carries itself. Removals go in stages, lowered rather than felled where a yard is fenced tight and the house stands close. When a storm crosses the bay and buries a driveway in limbs, the cutting starts early and the yard is swept before the truck pulls out.
