About Axis Landscaping LLC

Kula sits on a tilt — every yard here is a piece of Haleakalā's long western slope, angled toward the sea. Axis Landscaping works that grade the way it asks to be worked: mowing across the contour, string-trimming the banks no mower can hold, edging the driveway lines that fall away toward the switchbacks of Kula Highway. Mornings start cool and clear enough to see water on both sides of the island, and the cut goes down before the sun turns hot on the cinder. What's left is a lawn with its lines running true across a hillside — blown clean, clippings loaded, edges crisp. There is no flat starting point on this mountain, which is exactly what makes a straight edge worth cutting.
