About Malama Aina

Take the road toward Moloaa and the ironwoods begin dropping needles across the shoulder; a little past that, the guava crowds in. Malama Aina spends its days pulling yards back from that edge — mowing them level, running a trimmer along stone walls and posts, cutting borders back to a shape you can actually see. The north shore grows over you if you let it, and steady lawn care is the answer to that, week after week, so nothing gets away. A finished lawn out here looks like an act of attention: one even height, a crisp margin at the driveway, the cuttings gone. Kilauea and the towns strung along this coast make up the route.
