About Wailea Trees and Landscape Professionals, Inc.

The coastal path above Wailea runs south from Kihei past monkeypod shade and wind-shaped naupaka, and in the cool months the humpbacks are out in the channel, close enough to hear. Wailea Trees and Landscape Professionals, Inc. works this stretch of coast, where salt air, bright sun and steady wind all take their turn on a tree. Their work is unhurried: shaping canopies, thinning what the wind will otherwise break, trimming shrubs back into their lines, and keeping the lawn below cut clean and edged true. A well-shaped tree does not announce itself — it simply looks like it grew that way, which takes a careful eye and a sharp blade. Standing back at the end of an afternoon, with the light going long over Molokini, that quiet rightness is the whole reward.
