SYNLawn of Maui

About SYNLawn of Maui

Kihei sits in the rain shadow, and everyone here knows what that means: the clouds pile up on Haleakalā, slide past, and leave the south shore bright and thirsty. SYNLawn of Maui works with that fact instead of arguing with it, tending lawns in a town where the sky contributes almost nothing between May and October. Down by Kealia Pond the flats shimmer white with salt by noon; a few miles up the road a yard can still read cool and even green, and that is the whole point of the work. Mowing, edging, trimming, keeping the ground tidy — done consistently, it holds a property together through the long dry stretch. A crisp lawn in Kihei in September is not an accident, and it is a pleasure to be the reason for it.
