About Purpose Palm and Tree Care LLC

South Maui runs dry and bright: kiawe throwing thin shade, the ocean going silver toward Māʻalaea, and every afternoon the wind funneling up the isthmus like clockwork. Purpose Palm and Tree Care LLC works Kīhei's yards, courtyards and parking lots, clearing palms of loose fronds and seed heads before that wind carries them somewhere nobody wants them. Shade trees are pruned for clearance and airflow, opening a canopy so it stops fighting the gusts every day. A removal here means placing wood safely between a lānai and a parked car, done in sections rather than in one big fall. Come winter, when a front swings through off the water, the crew cuts and hauls what came down, and the lot is usable by the time the first cars arrive.
